Preschool Program

Sonrisa, a periodental spa, and IDID Institute Corp, a 501 c 3 whose mission is to create opportunities through workforce diversity, oral health literacy, and prevention that increase access to oral healthcare, thereby reducing disparities in healthcare, is proud to sponsor Little Kids, Big Smiles, Preschool Oral Health Program. The mission of this program is to improve the dental awareness, health, and knowledge of children. Brushing instructions, information about the use of fluoride and guidance for healthy food and drink choices help to reduce dental fear. Dental Screenings, and Fluoride Varnish applications are then provided. Sonrisa visits the preschool several times over the course of the semester, along with an after-school program to provide these benefits to school-age children as well.
